This policy explains how to cancel a Lodebridge subscription and when payments are refundable. It forms part of the Lodebridge Terms of Service. All amounts are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise.

1. Summary

  • Cancel any time from the billing page of your client portal.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access until then, and you will not be charged again.
  • Payments already made are non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods, except as set out in Section 5.
  • Free trials and no-charge periods cost nothing if you cancel before they end.

2. How to cancel

  1. Sign in to your client portal at https://lodebridge.com/login.
  2. Open Plan & billing for the product you want to cancel.
  3. Choose Cancel plan and confirm.

You will see a confirmation on screen and receive a confirmation email showing the date your access ends. Only an account owner can cancel a plan.

If you cannot access your portal, email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject "Cancel subscription". Requests received by email before your renewal date will be honoured for that renewal.

You can reverse a scheduled cancellation from the same page at any time before your access ends.

3. What happens when you cancel

  • Access continues until the end of the billing period you have paid for. No further charges are made after that date.
  • Data export. Your data remains available for export for thirty (30) days after access ends, then is deleted or de-identified as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • Annual or fixed-term plans. Where you have committed to an annual or other fixed term under an Order, cancellation stops the next renewal; fees for the remainder of the committed term remain payable unless your Order says otherwise.

4. Non-refundable payments

Lodebridge provisions dedicated server, storage, data-processing and AI compute resources for each customer at the start of every billing period, and incurs those infrastructure costs whether or not the Services are used during that period. For that reason, all subscription payments are non-refundable, including:

  • monthly and annual subscription fees, in whole or in part;
  • partially used billing periods after cancellation or a downgrade;
  • periods in which the Services were not used;
  • usage-based charges (such as AI, call, message or data-processing usage) already incurred; and
  • fees paid to third parties on your behalf, such as domain registration.

We do not provide prorated refunds when you cancel mid-period. If you move to a lower-priced plan, the difference for the rest of the period is credited against your future invoices; credits have no cash value and are not paid out.

5. Exceptions

Section 4 does not apply to:

  1. Billing errors. Duplicate charges, charges made after a confirmed cancellation, or charges at an amount different from your plan price are refunded in full once verified.
  2. Where required by law. Nothing in this policy limits any right to a refund that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Any other refund or credit is at Lodebridge's sole discretion and does not create an obligation to provide one in the future.

6. Free trials and no-charge periods

Where a plan includes a free trial or a no-charge period, the trial length, the date of your first charge and its amount are shown at checkout. We email you before the first charge.

  • Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged.
  • After the first charge, Sections 3 to 5 apply.

WebStudio. You are not charged while your website is being built. Your seven-day free period starts on the day your website goes live, and your first monthly charge is made on day seven unless you cancel before then. If you cancel during the build or the free period, you pay nothing. After your first paid month, you may cancel at any time and we will hand over your website files, content and domain as described in the Terms of Service.

7. Billing questions and disputes

If you believe you have been charged in error, contact [email protected] with your account email and the invoice number within sixty (60) days of the charge. We respond within five (5) business days. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your card issuer — most billing issues are resolved faster directly.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Card refunds typically appear within five (5) to ten (10) business days, depending on your card issuer.
